Regenerative Medicine

Pain, whether chronic, acute, or neuropathic, can significantly impact daily life. At Arizona Healthcare Freedom, we take a comprehensive approach to regenerative medicine tailored to your unique needs. Regenerative medicine is transforming healthcare by offering innovative solutions for repairing and restoring damaged tissues or organs. By leveraging stem cells, bioengineering, and cutting-edge science, this field opens new possibilities for individuals living with chronic conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and arthritis.

Our methods also include physical therapy to improve mobility and function, interventional procedures for targeted relief, and medication management to address immediate discomfort. We also specialize in cutting-edge therapies like Frequency Specific Microcurrent, which promotes healing and minimizes pain at a cellular level; Red Light and Low Level Laser and Shock wave therapy to stimulate the body’s natural healing process. We also offer the time-tested practices of Traditional Chinese Medicine. With our diverse range of options, we aim to empower you with effective solutions that improve your quality of life and alleviate and correct the underlying causes of pain.

Regenerative Injection Therapy

Regenerative Injection Therapy (RIT) relieves pain due to injury, chronic overuse, or degeneration by initiating the body’s natural healing processes. Minimally-invasive injections are administered to the affected joint(s) or source of pain. Depending on the nature of the issue, regenerative injections may eliminate the need for steroid injections or orthopedic surgery altogether.

  • Prolotherapy: Prolotherapy stabilizes and strengthens joints by stimulating the natural repair of tendons and/or ligaments. A mild irritant solution is injected to trigger a mild inflammation that re-initiates the body’s repair processes. Prolotherapy is a great option for slow-healing injuries or those that never healed properly, such as whiplash, rotator cuff or labral tears, Tennis/Golfer’s elbow, bursitis, low back pain, SI joint dysfunction, knee injuries (ACL, MCL, LCL, meniscus), ankle sprains, plantar fasciitis, or any ligamentous laxity.
  • Prolozone: Prolozone injections bring together Prolotherapy and Ozone Therapy techniques. An anti-inflammatory and nutrient-containing solution is first injected into or around the damaged structures, followed by medical-grade ozone. The ozone immediately dissociates into oxygen and several other molecules which aid in tissue repair. Prolozone shines for its ability to give a patient pain relief quickly so that healing may begin.
  • Platelet-Rich Plasma: Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) utilizes the body’s own healing factors to repair injured or damaged tissue. This process involves extracting the platelets and growth factors from the patient’s blood, then re-injecting into the site of injury. This therapy is effective for many conditions such as osteoarthritis, degenerative joint disease, low back pain and/or sciatica, muscle strains, and various acute or chronic tendon and ligament injuries (see Prolotherapy).
  • Perineural Injection Therapy: Perineural Injection Therapy (PIT) is used to treat inflamed or damaged nerves. Perineural injections decrease pain signaling while simultaneously nourishing the nerve for regeneration. Some uses include carpal tunnel, migraines, peripheral neuropathy, sciatica, and post-herpetic or trigeminal neuralgia.
  • Stem Cells: Several types of stem cell therapies are available including amniotic, umbilical, and exosomes. Autologous BMAC (bone marrow) stem cells will soon be available as well. Stem cell treatment can be a great option for those with pre-existing conditions that make them unlikely to respond to other regenerative injection therapies.
  • Microfat Procedure: The Microfat procedure is a minimally invasive technique now widely used in musculoskeletal medicine to help treat joint pain, osteoarthritis, and tendinopathies. This procedure involves harvesting a small amount of your own fat (autologous fat), which contains a rich source of viable cells that support healing and tissue regeneration. Compared to bone marrow aspiration, autologous fat harvesting is less painful and provides a higher yield of the cells needed to promote natural recovery in joints and soft tissues. Microfat offers those with musculoskeletal conditions a safe, effective option for enhancing the body’s ability to repair itself and reduce discomfort.
Peptide Therapy

Peptides are sequences of amino acids that make up proteins in the body and serve as signaling molecules. Peptides have been studied for many functions all the way from anti-aging to neurological repair. Peptide Therapy is a very safe and effective method in which specific peptides are administered (oral, injectable, or intranasal) to target receptors and stimulate cellular repair, hormonal regulation, and several other healing processes. This therapy can often be a great option for those who want to improve their physical and neurological health. Some of the most common peptides we use for body and performance optimization include:

  • BPC-157
  • CJC-1295
  • Epitalon
  • Ipamorelin
  • Selank
  • Semax
  • Tesamorelin
  • Thymosin Beta-4
Shockwave Therapy

SHOCKWAVE THERAPY, also known as Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT), is a non-invasive treatment that uses acoustic Waves to promote healing and relieve pain in damaged tissues. The therapy is commonly used to treat conditions related to tendons, muscles, and joints. During treatment, a device generates high-energy sound waves, which are directed towards the affected area. These sound waves stimulate blood circulation, encourage tissue regeneration, and help break down any scar tissue or calcification. The goal is to speed up the healing process and relieve pain.
