Our methods also include physical therapy to improve mobility and function, interventional procedures for targeted relief, and medication management to address immediate discomfort. We also specialize in cutting-edge therapies like Frequency Specific Microcurrent, which promotes healing and minimizes pain at a cellular level; Red Light and Low Level Laser and Shock wave therapy to stimulate the body’s natural healing process. We also offer the time-tested practices of Traditional Chinese Medicine. With our diverse range of options, we aim to empower you with effective solutions that improve your quality of life and alleviate and correct the underlying causes of pain.

IV Nutritional Therapy

Intravenous (IV) therapy is an effective way to deliver hydration, nutrients, and medications to the body. This method ensures optimal absorption because it bypasses the digestive tract and improves levels much more efficiently than oral administration. We have many different IV therapies to choose from. Intravenous (IV) therapy is an effective way to deliver hydration, nutrients, and medications to the body. IV therapy supports:

  • Energy & metabolism
  • Muscle growth and repair
  • Sports recovery
  • Detoxification
  • Muscle fatigue
  • Brain health
  • The aging process

It can also help to treat a wide variety of chronic conditions. Our doctors can help you choose the right option or design a custom IV to best target your nutritional needs.

Traditional Chinese Medicine
  • Acupuncture: Acupuncture is a medical practice that has been used in China for over 2000 years. It involves the use of small needles that are inserted into specific points throughout the body to correct imbalances involved with pain and poor circulation. Each acupuncture session is based on a TCM diagnosis which allows for a customized treatment that helps address the underlying cause of pain or illness.
  • Cupping: Cupping is another TCM therapy that involves the use of glass cups suctioned to the skin over areas of tension. This suctioning effect allows the layers beneath the skin (muscle, fascia, etc.) to open up and improve circulation. Cupping therapy is typically used for headaches, neck and/or back pain, and muscle spasms.
  • Gua Sha: Gua sha is a technique in which a traditional jade tool is used to “scrape” the skin so that it breaks up adhesions, scar tissue, and muscular tension. It is a great option for those with chronic neck, shoulder, and/or back pain due to tight muscles.
  • Far-Infrared (FIR) Therapy: A Far-Infrared TDP lamp is often used in conjunction with other TCM therapies as it aids in decreasing inflammation and improving blood flow. This therapy is very helpful in relieving pain due to joint stiffness, muscle spasm, or inflammatory conditions.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)

HBOT is an FDA-approved treatment that promotes non-specific biological repair. Delivering 100% oxygen at high atmospheric pressure, it is the only non-hormonal FDA-approved treatment that is known to repair and regenerate human tissue. During this therapy, the patient is fully enclosed in a chamber and given 100-300% oxygen (compared to the 21% we typically breathe from the air). This allows the oxygen to fully saturate the blood and the tissues, and deliver it to areas of injury and poor blood supply. Hyperbaric Oxygen is effective for speeding up the healing of the brain, bones, soft tissue, heart, liver, etc. It is beneficial in treating many conditions including:

  • Autism
  • Burns & Wounds
  • Cancer
  • Chronic Infections (e.g. Lyme Disease)
  • Concussion & Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
  • Neurological Disorders (e.g. Alzheimer’s, MS, Parkinson’s, seizure disorders)
  • Post-Surgical Recovery
  • Radiation Injury
Constitutional Hydrotherapy

Constitutional hydrotherapy uses ideas not dissimilar to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). This therapeutic technique uses alternating hot and cold water to bring balance to organs and the entire body by stimulating movement of blood.

When a hot towel is placed on the torso, blood moves to the surface to maintain homeostasis. Alternating with a cold towel will make the blood vessels constrict and move back into the center of the body. Switching between hot and cold towels creates an oscillatory effect that allows blood and other important fluids to cycle through important systems like the liver, skin, lungs, and kidneys.

While the towels are alternating, electric stimulation is applied to the back to promote smooth muscle contractions that improve circulation even further.

Spinal & Fascial Manipulation
  • Naturopathic Manipulative Therapy (NMT): NMT is a form of physical medicine that involves soft tissue and spinal mobilization to treat structural and functional imbalances. This technique can be used to treat chronic musculoskeletal pain as well as recent injuries. The goal of NMT is to restore proper alignment and mobility to the skeletal system and its supporting structures, which in turn relieves pain and improves circulation.
  • Myofascial Release: Myofascial release is a type of manual therapy that targets areas of tension in the thin protective layer that supports the body’s bones and muscles. Often caused by muscle tension (i.e. trigger points) or skeletal misalignment, myofascial tension can refer pain to other areas of the body. Myofascial release works to identify and correct these pain patterns in order to improve range of motion and prevent future injury.
Light Therapy

Light therapy uses exposure to sunlight or artificial light with a controlled wavelength to treat several medical issues. Light therapy has been used to treat or accompany treatment for:

  • Seasonal affective disorder
  • Non-seasonal depression
  • Chronic circadian rhythm sleep disorders (CRSD)
  • Vitiligo
  • Psoriasis
  • Cancer
  • Atopic dermatitis
  • Acne
  • Vitamin D deficiency

Red light therapy increases energy by stimulating cells and increases blood flow and oxygenation. Blue light therapy can also reduce fatigue by increasing alertness and influencing the suprachiasmatic nucleus, the system that maintains circadian timing.

Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)

LLLT uses a low-intensity application of light that triggers biochemical changes to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and accelerate tissue regeneration. This therapy has demonstrated proliferative effects for skin, nerves, tendons, cartilage, and bones. Low Level Laser Therapy can be used to treat both acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain. Due to its ability to enhance blood flow and collagen synthesis, it significantly shortens recovery time from injury. LLLT is commonly used for sports-related injuries such as tennis elbow, jumper’s knee, and Achilles tendinitis.

Neurofeedback/EEG Biofeedback

An EEG is a test that monitors the brain’s electrical activity. Electrodes are attached to the scalp to monitor brain waves and help diagnose irregular brain activity. Neurofeedback takes the process a step further. As brainwaves are tracked, feedback signals respond to irregular activity, helping to re-wire brain circuits. Neurofeedback is a beneficial diagnostic and therapeutic tool for the following conditions:

  • Addiction
  • ADHD
  • Anxiety & Depression
  • Competition & Performance Sports
  • Epilepsy & other seizure disorders
  • Insomnia & sleep-related disorders
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Radiation Injury
